BOCA RATON (September 26) – Professional Bank has signed a lease for a 2,359-square-foot branch on Federal Highway in the 980 Cendyn building, landlord representative Whelchel Partners Real Estate Services announced today.

 

Signed on May 15, the lease brings the 95,000-square-foot building to 98 percent occupancy, leaving only one small, highly desirable space available. With an innovative atrium design that engages tenants, 980 Cendyn has been a big success.

 

The building, at 980 N. Federal Hwy., is the headquarters of Whelchel Partners, Cendyn, Trilogy Education Services, R2 Unified Technology, Flagship Solutions, United Capital, and Cendyn Spaces, as well as Brickel & Company and Rip Kurrent.

Whelchel Partners represented the landlord, Boca East Investments. CBRE represented Professional Bank.

 

Professional Bank takes over the Wells Fargo retail banking space, which was locked up since 1985. With the build-out now underway, the branch will open in December.

Leading co-working space provider Cendyn Spaces also expanded its footprint to a total of 15,000 square feet with the recent addition of 7,700 square feet.
