A Boca Raton-based biotech firm has decided to enlarge its staff and product line, retaining 57 jobs, creating 160 more and investing $28 million in the region as part of its expansion.
In the new fiscal year that began Oct. 1, the city seems to be breaking loose from the recession that began in 2008 and forced staff layoffs and program cuts.
While the Trade Show will focus on businesses highlighting the companies to the public, free business seminars will be taking place simultaneously.
Cultivating Boca business is now at the top of the city’s to-do list.
