Boca Realtor Amasses $270 Million In Sales In One Condominium
February 15th, 2015A South Florida Realtor has amassed more than $270 million in sales at the luxury One Thousand Ocean condominium in just five years.
Senada Adzem, director of luxury sales for Douglas Elliman, hit the $270 million mark with the Friday sale of a $5.995 million unit. The 6,260-square-foot unit was on the market fewer than five days.
This weekend marks the five-year anniversary of One Thousand Ocean, which is perched on the north side of the Boca Raton Inlet.
Adzem was the original listing agent for the 53-unit property. Her job wasn’t an easy one as the posh property was being built just as the economy crumbled.
Pre-development sales began in 2006, with an October 2007 groundbreaking. One year later, the economy and the real estate market took a nosedive. But the building weathered the bust and sold out in 2013.
Resales are still available. Adzem has three listings currently, including a four-bedroom, four-bathroom, penthouse with 5,300 square feet. Price tag: $6.695 million.
Last year, Adzem set a record for highest price per square foot in Palm Beach County with the $10.4 million sale of another One Thousand Ocean penthouse.
