June 24th, 2016

There’s a new leader atop SunTrust Bank’s (NYSE: STI) South Florida private wealth totem pole. Victoria Rixon has been hired as SunTrust Private Wealth Management’s South Florida Division Executive.

Rixon joins SunTrust from J.P. Morgan, SunTrust announced Monday.

She has more than 30 years of financial services experience, including 18 years in private banking. Prior to her time at J.P. Morgan, Rixon was the regional president of Palm Beach County at Lydian Bank & Trust where she oversaw private banking and wealth management.

She was previously with Bank of America, where she was president of the Palm Beach region and the private banking market executive for Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast.

Rixon is a U.S. Army veteran, having served for six years prior to her banking career in part to help pay her way through school. She is a graduate of the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
