NEW: First BurgerFi in Boca Raton opens
June 14th, 2018BOCA RATON — The fast-growing casual chain BurgerFi just opened its first Boca Raton location today.
The restaurant, at a recently renovated plaza on Southwest 18th Street near Powerline Road, offers craft burgers, hand-cut fries, onion rings and house-made sauces. The spot offers the same eats as its nearby Delray Beach and Boynton Beach counterparts.
And yes, it offers the Beyond Burger — a popular plant-based, vegan-friendly “burger” introduced by the national chain about a year ago.
Franchisees Mark and Michele McCauley, who opened a BurgerFi in Atlanta four years ago, are behind the Boca Raton location.
The 2,450-square-foot restaurant can seat up to 93 patrons, and sports eco-friendly interiors, including chairs made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles, tables made from recycled milk jugs and wood panels made from renewable timber.
BurgerFi is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m Sunday-Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
